Flight

Reflect

A plane doesn’t take off because of one dramatic moment. It takes off because countless things quietly align beneath the surface: pressure, timing, balance, lift, stability, focus. People only see the moment it rises, but the real miracle is everything that had to work together for that lift to happen.

Our becoming works the same way. The shifts in your life don’t announce themselves. They form in the moments that stretched you, in the emotions that felt too big, and in the circumstances that forced you to see yourself differently than before. All of that is alignment, silent preparation for who you’re becoming.

A plane pauses on the runway. It’s not stuck. It prepares for flight. Every system calibrates. Every instrument syncs for the journey. We, too, meet seasons of stillness. These God-directed pauses serve a purpose. They create space for our fragmented soul, mind, and heart to align. True stillness prepares us for movement. But fearful hesitation does the opposite. It freezes us. It prevents the alignment that sets us free. Many of us walk past opportunities without realizing it. We turn away from new possibilities because they resemble something that once hurt us. We guard ourselves so tightly that we sometimes dismiss people before understanding their depth. We hold onto expectations that feel protective, but sometimes those expectations become the very things keeping us grounded. Some experiences enter quietly and gently, like a steady wind supporting the plane's lift. They’re easy to overlook, yet they often carry exactly what your experiences have been preparing you for. Life has layers you haven’t lived yet. There are moments ahead that will make you wonder why you ever doubted what was possible. So, shift into an open posture. Stay willing to walk paths you didn’t plan and meet people you didn’t expect. You don’t have to rush, but you also don’t have to close every unfamiliar door. Not every new experience is dangerous. Not every open door mirrors the one that once led you to pain. A plane doesn’t avoid the sky because of past turbulence; it prepares, adjusts, and rises again. What felt heavy yesterday may have been building the exact strength you need for takeoff today. The pressure, the stretching, and the quiet recalibration were all part of your lift sequence. But you’ll never know what’s waiting for you if you keep closing doors before you reach your runway. So understand this: something unexpected, something deeply needed, something unfamiliar but steady may be the beautiful miracle you’ve been praying for. When everything within you aligns, your healing, your courage, your willingness, and your faith, you’ll do what once felt impossible. You’ll rise. You’ll take flight.
